The basics of how Edgartown Delivers works with you.

Edgartown Delivers ("we", "us") is a locally owned personal shopping and delivery service on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, currently serving the Down Island towns of Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. We purchase groceries and provisions on your behalf from the stores you select and deliver them to the address you provide. We are not affiliated with any of the stores we shop at.
Orders are placed through the form on this website. An order is confirmed once the delivery fee has been paid and you have received a confirmation email from us. Please order at least 48 hours before your requested delivery date. We will do our best to accommodate shorter notice but cannot guarantee it.
Our fees are shown on the pricing section of this site. The delivery fee is paid online when you order. Groceries are charged at the price we pay in store plus 20%, invoiced by email after shopping and payable before delivery is completed. All payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
Product availability on the island varies. If an item is unavailable we follow the substitution preference you chose when ordering. You are not charged for items we could not source.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and access instructions (codes, keys, property manager contacts). If we cannot access the property at the agreed time, we will contact you; if no other arrangement can be made the order may be left outside the door, and we cannot accept responsibility for items once left.

We do not purchase or deliver alcohol, tobacco or other age-restricted products.
We take great care with every order. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. We are not responsible for delays caused by ferry schedules, weather or other events outside our control, though we will always keep you informed.
